Dutch Apple Tart

Dutch Apple Tart

1. Combine in food processor: 

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cups Butter, unsalted
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • Zest of 1 Lemon

2. Dough will be very soft. Roll to fit a 9" round removable cake pan or a 9 x 13 in pan, but enough to have some dough for criss-cross top strips.

3. Combine:

  • 4-5 Apples, peeled & sliced
  • 1/2 cup Raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

4. Fill dough with apple mixture. Place dough strips in criss cross formation on top. 

5. Brush with egg wash.

6. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.

7. Serve with whipped cream or coconut cream.
