Ingredients: Organic Steel Cut Oats
Cooking Directions: Bring 4 cups water with 1 tsp. salt to a boil. Gradually add 1 cup steel cut oats, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until oats are tender (about 15-30 minutes).
Also called Irish Oatmeal, these steel cut oats are whole grain groats (the inner portion of the oat kernel) which have been cut into only two or three pieces. They are golden in color and resemble mini rice particles. Distinctive hearty, chewy flavor.
